Grammar in this module
- Historical present and literary past tenses — Literary analysis often switches to present tense ('historical present') to discuss what happens in a text, while narrating the plot itself may use Präteritum.
- Advanced relative and appositive constructions in literary style — Literary and critical writing often adds an appositive (a noun phrase renaming another) to enrich description without a full clause.
