German dictionary and translator
Look up any word from the course, or translate between five languages.
Look up any word in the course and get its article, plural, translation and an example sentence.
Dictionary
Search in any of the five supported languages and the dictionary finds the German entry, with its gender, its plural and a sentence showing it in use. Every entry links out to Wiktionary for full declension tables when you need them.
Translator
Translate between English, German, Urdu, Arabic and Turkish. It is built for the kind of short lookup a learner actually needs mid-lesson — a phrase you half-remember, a word you cannot place — rather than for translating documents.
Why the article matters
Every German noun carries a gender, and a noun learned without its article is a noun you will hesitate over for years. Each dictionary entry shows the article as part of the word rather than as a footnote, and the example sentence puts it in a real case so you see how it behaves in the accusative and dative rather than only in isolation.
